SP3 breaks handwriting recognition in Office 2003

If you having difficulty using handwriting recognition feature of Office 2003 after upgrading to SP3. Then you need to replace PENUSA.DLL file from C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\INK folder with pre SP3 version of this file. Solution to this problem as follow:

1. Download PENUSA.DLL from here

2. Save it onto you computer

3. Terminate the process in Safe Mode using a Suitable process viewer

4. Replace PENUSA.DLL file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\INK with the version you saved at the step 2 above.
